Estee Lauder Private Collection Compacts. Extremly Rare Special Edition Solid Perfume Compact, Circa. This is an extreme rare to find perfume compact and many collectors doesn't have this compact in their private collections. In 1993 Estee Lauder personally selected to re-issue this compact with her favored Youth-Dew fragrance on the basis of the original 1968 Youth-Dew Compact with twist closure, however, 1993 edition Ms.

Lauder ordered made without twist closure. Estee Lauder issued this compact in a very limited edition of 150.

As I mentioned, this compact made without twist-closure - golden coiled rope centered with turquoise cabochon, measuring 1.5 in diameter. The compact filed with Youth-Dew fragrance that was never used.

Roselyn Gerson indicated in her 2001 Book "Estee Lauder Solid Perfume Compact Collection", on page 91, that the compact has "no original price known", Gerson was wrote her book in collaboration and support of Estee Lauder Inc. And she was not able to recover the original price for this compact, which brings the value on this compact high - instantly.

This rare compact comes in its original 1993 box. I will always describe the condition and any flaws I see to avoid any misunderstandings.
